4.    Click on XMBC.org or follow the following URL: http://kodi.tv/download/

5.    Depending upon your device hardware select ARM or x86. Most users choose ARM link.

6.    While downloading the application, you may get a warning window on your server.

7.    Click ok.

8.    Let the file get downloaded.

9.    Now open the downloaded file. You can do it from download menu of the server or selecting it from file explorer.

10.  After selecting the file, you may be asked about the format to get it opened.

11.  After selecting the appropriate format, select install.

12.  Let the installation complete.

13.  The application is now ready to be used on the android device.

First time, it may take time for the XMBC to get opened as some final steps of installation are being carried on. After XMBC is installed you can delete .apk file to save the device storage space. To update the app, follow the installation steps for the updated versions. Get a backup of the user data while updating the XMBC app.

In order to uninstall this app follow the below given steps:

1.    Select settings.

2.    Go to the apps.

3.    Select XMBC.

4.    A window will appear asking whether you want to uninstall the app.

5.    Click OK.
